When presented with the concept of skating in St. Petersburg during Roark’s sojourn to the East, Jamie pointed out that there was a lot of marble and concrete. Which is good, until you’re forced to fall on it over and over again during the winter. The surface retains and reflects the bitter cold straight into your bones. There’s no level of protection to thwart winters attack. But as usual, Jamie persevered - defeating the weather and warming the hearts of the local skateboarding scene.
